The neck
Treatment with botulinum toxin presents us with the challenge in the neck that the anatomy of the musculature is sometimes quite complex, but also in the case of cervical dystonia, which is mostly treated, hypertrophy of muscles or atrophy is so altered by treatment that knowledge of the individual anatomy can be very helpful.
Therefore, we present videos below to help learn and review the knowledge of ultrasound guided injection.
Videos
The videos are designed in such a way that four videos are shown synchronously: First, the ultrasound model with the position of the transducer, second, the corresponding ultrasound image with and without coloured and labelled anatomical structures, and third, only the coloured structures with the labelling of the structures. The ultrasound images were taken with a lineral transducer (14L5, Aplio a, Cannon Medical Systems).
The copyright to the videos is held by Prof. Dr. Tobias Bäumer.
